TYNT’s debut album ‘SYMBOL’ was officially released on 17/4/20, available on online streaming platforms as well as physical copies. Consisting of 8 tracks, this is TYNT’s most substantial release this year after the the music video of ‘PIETY’, marking a musical
milestone for the band since their initial debut in the winter of 2018. SYMBOL therefore tells a story that embodies the bands initial chemistry and the musicality that comes from that. The distinct character of this album would be it’s blending of shoe gaze and
psychedelic textures with electronic and sometimes industrial sensibilities. The more dynamic numbers include previous singles ‘ERASING’(2019), ’PIETY’ (2018) as well as tracks like STRIPE and HUNT, incorporating heavier guitar riffs that contrast with floating and shimmering synths. The more laid back numbers include NOMAD and the rereleased version of WAKING, shower the softer and more delicate side of the band.
